Jordan Alejandro is the Founder, Principal Designer, and Creative Director of Jordan Alejandro Design, a San Francisco–based studio creating thoughtful, highly personal residential interiors.

Raised in San Francisco and surrounded by a family with backgrounds in real estate and construction, Jordan developed an early understanding of homes from both a creative and practical perspective. That foundation continues to shape his approach today—considering not only how a space looks, but how it functions, feels, and supports the people who live in it.

Jordan’s design perspective is instinctive yet considered, guided by proportion, architecture, materiality, and an appreciation for spaces that feel collected rather than overly decorated. His work balances refinement with warmth, pairing timeless foundations with unexpected details that give each home its own identity.

He holds a BSBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of San Francisco and is continuing his professional education in Architecture & Interior Design at UCLA with advanced coursework focused on the built environment, spatial design and interior architecture.

For Jordan, inspiration extends well beyond interiors. Fashion, art, architecture, travel, historic homes, beautiful hotels, restaurants, and the visual culture of San Francisco all inform the way he sees space. At home, life with his two Shiba Inus is an equally important reminder that even the most beautiful interiors should still feel comfortable, welcoming, and genuinely lived in.

Ultimately, Jordan believes the best spaces do not announce themselves. They feel effortless, distinctive, and deeply connected to the people who inhabit them.

A Note from Jordan

I have always been drawn to the way a space can completely change how you feel.

For me, good design begins with understanding the architecture, the client, and the way a home is actually lived in. From there, every decision—layout, material, lighting, furniture, color, and art—should feel connected rather than simply added.

I am not interested in creating the same look from project to project. I want each home to have its own point of view while still feeling timeless enough to evolve with the people who live there.

My role is to see the potential in a space, bring clarity to the hundreds of decisions that go into creating it, and ultimately make the finished result feel as though it could never have been designed any other way.
